Kiara Advani Clarifies Old Comment on Kareena Kapoor Amid New Chapter in Motherhood

A social media page recently shared a post claiming that Kiara wanted her daughter to inherit Kareena’s qualities. Responding to this, the actress clarified that her comment was being “taken out of context,” as the clip came from a promotional interview she gave several years ago while promoting Good Newwz.

During the interview with journalist Faridoon Shahryar, Kiara was asked which qualities of Kareena Kapoor she would like her daughter to inherit. With admiration, she had replied, “Her confidence, her expressions, her aura. All her qualities. She is a 10 on 10.” At the time, the actress had also mentioned she wished to have two healthy babies in the future.
The resurfacing of the remark came soon after she and Sidharth Malhotra announced the birth of their baby girl, leading many fans to misinterpret her earlier statement as a fresh comment. Kiara addressed the post directly, calling out the page for “sharing old interviews out of context.”
