Breakup Turns Deadly In Shocking Mohali Incident

The victim, Dimple, was working late at the office when the attack occurred. Police say the accused, Harvinder Mann, also known as Harry, was her former partner and colleague. The two had worked together at the same company for nearly three years.

Attack Inside Office Creates Panic

According to investigators, Dimple had stayed back at the office to complete pending work. Taking advantage of the quieter office environment, Harvinder allegedly arrived at the workplace and confronted her.

Police said an argument broke out between the two. During the confrontation, Harvinder allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked Dimple multiple times.

The attack was extremely brutal. Investigators revealed that Dimple suffered 32 stab wounds. Employees present in the office were left horrified as the incident unfolded before them.

Witnesses immediately contacted emergency services and informed the police.

Accused Attempts Suicide After Attack

After attacking Dimple, Harvinder allegedly turned the knife on himself and stabbed himself several times in an apparent suicide attempt.

When police officers arrived at the scene, they found both individuals seriously injured. The blood-stained weapon was recovered from the office premises.

Both were rushed to a nearby private hospital for emergency treatment.

Doctors later declared Dimple dead on arrival. Medical officials said she had suffered severe injuries and extensive blood loss.

Harvinder survived his self-inflicted injuries and remains admitted to the hospital. He is currently under police guard while receiving treatment.

Police Reveal Relationship History

During the investigation, police uncovered the background of the relationship between the two.

According to officials, Dimple and Harvinder had been in a relationship in the past. However, they had separated around six months ago.

After the breakup, Dimple reportedly chose to move on and distance herself from Harvinder. Investigators believe the accused struggled to accept the separation and had been trying to reconnect with her.

Police suspect this may have been the reason behind the fatal confrontation at the office.

Murder Case Registered

Mohali Police have registered a murder case against Harvinder Mann and launched a detailed investigation.

Forensic teams visited the office and collected evidence from the crime scene. CCTV footage, witness statements, and other materials are being examined to establish the exact sequence of events.

Officials said the investigation is still ongoing and more details will emerge once the accused is medically fit to be questioned.

Community In Shock

The incident has sparked outrage and sadness among local residents and the victim’s colleagues.

Many people have expressed concern over workplace safety and the growing number of crimes linked to relationship disputes.

The tragic death of Dimple has once again highlighted the dangers of obsession, harassment, and violence after breakups.

As police continue their investigation, the victim’s family is demanding strict action and justice for their loss.

Authorities have assured that the case will be pursued thoroughly and that all evidence will be examined before further legal action is taken.
