Tom Holland

Tom Holland is a British actor who rose to fame for his portrayal of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Born on June 1, 1996, in Kingston upon Thames, London, Holland grew up in a family of performers, with his father being a comedian and his mother a photographer. He was the third child out of four siblings.

Holland attended The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in London, where he trained in dance and theater. At the age of 12, he landed his first acting role in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical, where he played the title role of Billy Elliot. He went on to play the role for two years before moving on to other projects.

In 2011, Holland made his feature film debut in The Impossible, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. The film tells the story of a family’s experience during the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
